“I moved to the Netherlands in 1998 and started teaching here in 2002. Although I have been teaching English for more than 30 years I am still as passionate as I was when I started teaching.
The joy of enabling people to express themselves in English fuels my enthusiasm. Having learnt Dutch as an adult, I am well aware of the obstacles (real and imagined) faced by learners and I enjoy being able to lessen those fears and to help them to use English with confidence.
I believe in lifelong learning and enjoy teaching learners of English as much as I enjoy learning from them.
